By placing an order — online, via WhatsApp, email or in person — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases, bulk orders, corporate orders and transactions related to handmade perfumed candles, clay pot diyas, incense sticks, bath scrubs, gift boxes and related handicraft products manufactured and sold by Ahana Enterprises, Pondicherry, India.
01 Products & Handmade Nature
1.1All our products are entirely handmade by skilled artisans. Each piece is unique and may have minor variations in size, shape, colour, fragrance intensity and floral decoration from the photographs displayed on our website or catalogue. These variations are not defects — they are the natural character of handmade products.
1.2Product photographs on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance.
1.3Fragrances are natural and handcrafted. Intensity may vary slightly from batch to batch depending on the season and availability of natural ingredients.
1.4All candles are made with non-toxic fragrance oils. They are not edible and must be kept out of reach of children and pets.
02 Pricing
2.1All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
2.2Prices are exclusive of GST unless specifically stated as inclusive. GST at applicable rates will be charged additionally on all invoices. GST invoices are provided for all transactions (GSTIN: 34AVDPK8842Q1ZX).
2.3Ahana Enterprises reserves the right to revise prices at any time without prior notice. However, orders already confirmed with advance payment received will be honoured at the price quoted at the time of order confirmation.
2.4For bulk and corporate orders, a formal written quotation will be provided upon request. The quoted price is valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
03 Orders & Confirmation
3.1All orders — retail, bulk or corporate — are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment.
3.2For bulk and corporate orders, a minimum 50% advance payment is mandatory before production begins.
3.3The balance 50% payment must be cleared in full before dispatch of the order. No goods will be dispatched against pending payments.
3.4Ahana Enterprises reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, with full refund of any advance payment received.
3.5Order confirmation will be communicated via WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of receipt of advance payment.

05 Custom Branding
5.1Custom branding of gift packaging — including boxes, wrapping and labels — with the buyer's company name, logo, brand colours and occasion message is available on request for orders of 200 packs or more.
5.2The buyer is responsible for providing print-ready artwork in the required format (PDF, AI or high-resolution PNG). Ahana Enterprises will not be responsible for poor print quality arising from low-resolution or incorrect artwork supplied by the buyer.
5.3For bulk orders of more than 200 packs, a branded sample piece — a single unit produced with the buyer's exact branding — will be prepared and dispatched within 2 weeks of receiving the confirmed order along with 50% advance payment, for review and approval before full production begins.
5.4Full production will commence only after written approval of the branded sample by the buyer. The 2-week sample period is additional to the standard 8-week production lead time, making the total estimated delivery time approximately 10 weeks from confirmed order.
5.5Any changes requested after approval of the branded sample may attract additional charges and extend the delivery timeline.
5.6Ahana Enterprises retains the right to photograph and display custom-branded products for portfolio purposes unless the buyer specifically requests confidentiality in writing.
06 Lead Time & Delivery
6.1Standard lead time for bulk and corporate orders is 8 weeks from the date of order confirmation (non-branded orders) or 8 weeks from the date of branded sample approval (custom branding orders).
6.2For orders with custom branding, the total estimated time from confirmed order to delivery is approximately 10 weeks — 2 weeks for branded sample preparation and approval, followed by 8 weeks for full production and dispatch.
6.3Lead times are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates. Ahana Enterprises will not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural calamities, supply chain disruptions, transport delays or force majeure events.
6.4Delivery is available pan-India. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.
6.5Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon handover to the courier or transport partner.
⚠ Festival Order Deadlines

We strongly recommend placing Diwali orders by June and New Year orders by October to ensure timely delivery. Handmade products require careful preparation and cannot be rushed without compromising quality.

07 Retail Availability — Matri Store, New Delhi
7.1Select products from our range are available for walk-in purchase at Matri Store, Sri Aurobindo Ashram — Delhi Branch, Sarvodaya Enclave, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi — 110016 (near IIT Flyover, South Delhi).
7.2Store timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, all days except National Holidays.

7.4Product availability at Matri Store is subject to stock and may vary. Ahana Enterprises does not guarantee the availability of specific products at the store at all times.
08 Cancellation & Refund Policy
8.1Once an order is confirmed and advance payment received, cancellation is not permitted as production begins immediately.
8.2In the exceptional circumstance that Ahana Enterprises is unable to fulfil a confirmed order, a full refund of the advance payment will be processed within 14 working days.
8.3Refunds, if applicable, will be made via the same payment method used by the buyer at the time of ordering.
8.4No refunds will be issued for products that have been delivered in good condition and accepted by the buyer.
09 Returns & Replacement
9.1Due to the handmade and perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted unless the products received are damaged in transit or materially different from what was ordered.
9.2Any claims for damaged or incorrect products must be reported to Ahana Enterprises within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence sent via email or WhatsApp.
9.3Upon verification, Ahana Enterprises will offer a replacement or store credit at its discretion.
9.4Products purchased from Matri Store or any other retail outlet are subject to that outlet's own return policy.
10 Candle Safety Instructions
Always burn candles within sight and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep burning candles away from children, pets, flammable materials and draughts.
Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface before lighting.
Trim the wick to 5mm before each use to prevent excessive flame and soot.
Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a stretch. Allow to cool completely before relighting.
Discontinue use when only 1cm of wax remains at the bottom.
Clay pot diyas should be placed on a heat-resistant plate or tray as the clay base may heat up during burning.
Note: Never use water to extinguish a candle flame. Smother with a snuffer or lid.
Ahana Enterprises will not be held responsible for any damage, injury or loss arising from improper use of our products.
11 Intellectual Property
11.1All product designs, photographs, packaging artwork and website content are the intellectual property of Ahana Enterprises and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.
11.2The Ahana Enterprises name, logo and brand identity are proprietary and may not be used by any third party without explicit written consent.
12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
12.1These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
12.2Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or any transaction with Ahana Enterprises shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pondicherry, India.
